They're Here!

Dan and Deb arrived in Riga yesterday afternoon, and it is great to have them here!  We have been here for four weeks now, so it's kind of neat to approach the area from a fresh viewpoint again.  It was raining when they got here and didn't stop until late yesterday evening, so we didn't get to do much.  It looks like it is going to be chilly and rain off and on all week, so I hope the weather doesn't impinge (Like that word? Pretty cool that I came up with that word so early in the morning!) upon our having a good time.

We are traveling to Tallinn, Estonia today.  It is a four-hour bus trip from Riga, and it is relatively inexpensive to get there.  We're going to stay overnight and come back tomorrow evening.  I don't know a whole lot about Tallinn, but a few of the Americans we have met here and some of the British folk all say that it is a lot like Riga.  Some have said that they like it better, while others say they prefer Riga.  Here are some pictures of the area off of the internet.
